AI Intern – Agent & MCP

We're looking for an AI Engineering Intern – Model Context Protocol (MCP). The resource will be in charge of implementing and evaluating a multi-agent architecture based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The project aims to revolutionize how AI systems connect to external data sources and tools (ERP, WMS, TMS) in the supply chain context.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

• Developing containerized MCP Servers (Docker/Kubernetes) for supply chain tools;
• Implementing a Python-based MCP Client for tool discovery and context management;
• Orchestrating multi-step decision workflows with human-in-the-loop components;
• Testing scalability and protocol overhead in concurrent multi-agent scenarios;
• Comparing local edge computing deployments versus cloud-based scenarios.

The role requires possession of the following qualifications:

• Enrolled in a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields;
• Solid Python programming skills;
• Familiarity with client-server architectures and containerization (Docker);
• Interest in standardized communication protocols for agentic AI;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.

The work location will be our Headquarter in Bra (CN) or Turin.
